A self-hosted content publishing tool that helps a creator schedule and publish their own review videos to their connected social channels — including YouTube — from one place.

What this application does

Clipto Cross-Post is an internal tool operated by Kanisond Sinma, a content creator / KOL based in Thailand (Clipto Media). It lets the operator connect their own social media accounts and publish the same piece of content — a short review video and its caption — to multiple platforms without logging into each one separately.

The tool is self-hosted (built on the open-source Postiz project) and used to manage the creator's own channels and a small number of client channels that have explicitly granted access. It is not resold or offered as a public product.

How it uses the YouTube Data API

The application uses the YouTube Data API v3 solely to upload videos on behalf of the signed-in channel owner, using the videos.insert endpoint.

Scopes requested

Privacy status is always chosen by the user. Before each upload the operator selects the video's visibility (public, unlisted, or private). The application never changes a video's visibility on its own and never modifies content the user did not create in this session.

How a user connects (OAuth flow)

  1. The operator clicks “Add channel → YouTube” inside the tool.
  2. They are redirected to Google’s standard OAuth consent screen and sign in with their own Google Account.
  3. They review and grant the requested permissions.
  4. Google returns an access & refresh token, which the tool stores securely to publish the videos the operator schedules.
  5. The operator can disconnect at any time in the tool, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Data handling

What we storeOAuth tokens, the connected channel’s name/ID/thumbnail, and the content the operator chooses to publish.

DeletionTokens and channel data are removed when the account is disconnected.
